1. What important matters should be noted when operating the dosing system?

When operating the dosing system, pay attention to the following items:

Second, when the metering pump outlet is at atmospheric pressure, what method can improve the repeating measurement accuracy of the pump?

In the metering pump discharge valve device, the valve tension spring can improve the repeating metering accuracy, but the most useful improvement method is to add a back pressure valve at the approach point of the pipeline near the point of application.

Third, how to adjust the back pressure valve?

1. Do not exceed the large operating pressure of the metering pump for a long time.

2. When the metering pump is under pressure at the suction end, the pressure at the discharge end of the pump is at least 1 bar higher than the pressure at the suction end.

How to choose the appropriate pulse buffer?

The volume of the pulse damper is calculated by measuring the stroke of the pump stroke 6-20 times. Detailed multiples, depending on the way of the buffer, the detailed application conditions, etc. (airbag type, barrier type, air tank)

Fourth, how to set the pressure of the safety valve?

The pressure of the safety valve can be adjusted within the additional operating pressure of the metering pump and does not allow for greater operating pressures beyond the metering pump. The safety valve is planned to prevent overpressure of the metering pump. For example, if the metering pump has a large operating pressure of 3 bar, the pressure of the safety valve should be set to 3 bar, perhaps lower to ensure proper operation of the metering pump. Overpressure work is one of the leading causes of damage to the metering pump.

5. Under what circumstances do you use self-priming aspiration?

Self-priming aspiration can be used in the following situations:

1. The metered liquid is simply evaporated;

2. The specific gravity of the metering liquid is large;

3. When a higher stroke frequency is required;

4. When the metering pump is working in high altitude areas;

5. Tanks with large demand when used in the field, and relying on the self-priming of the metering pump is not feasible.

When it comes to metering pump heads, the general problem is when measuring acid, chlorine, fluoride and hydrogen peroxide. Because of the difference in drug concentration and operating temperature, it is difficult to determine the detailed pump head material. When measuring fluoride, we recommend the use of Viton? sealed PVC pump head. For most chlorination applications, EPDM sealed NP (Plexiglas) pump heads are preferred. For the hydrogen peroxide mixture, only PTFE sealed PTFE pump heads or stainless steel pump heads can be used. Concentrated hydrochloric acid is generally metered using a Viton® sealed plexiglass pump head. Concentrated sulphuric acid can be metered to select a PTFE sealed PTFE pump head. The manufacturer of the chemical will give relevant advice, perhaps consulting the ProMinent® chemical corrosion chart to determine the compatibility of the chemical with the touch material.

7. What are the factors that need to be considered when measuring the liquid at the pump head?
